Today's Carnival Food Recipe From Our Files: Two Salads In Purple, Green And Gold

From 1994, we found these two salad recipes. Either one would be a pretty (and relatively healthy) addition to a parade party buffet. Carnival Cole Slaw Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste 1/2 cup mayonnaise Dash olive oil Dash vinegar Shred cabbage by hand, with a knife or in a food processor. Rinse and drain well. Shred carrots in medium-wide strips.
